4 Easy Decorating Ideas for the Home
Spring is in the air. Even with temperatures in the 30’s, my house has Sprung into bloom! I’m feeling optimistic that Spring warm weather will be here before we know it.
I’ve decided to brighten up my home by appealing to the five senses by bring in a pop of color, smells, and add some textures fresh flowers! My favorite Spring flowers are daffodils and this year I got all yellow daffodils. I was a little creative. I put some daffodils in every room of my house until I ran out of vases then I used mason jars! I also changed up my Glade plug-in scents and candles to smell more like spring! Here is some more ideas how you can Spring into the Spring season!
Spring into Spring… 4 Easy Decorating Ideas
1. Add a pop of color- An easy way to add a pop of color is to use some fruit. Find some kind of container in your home. You don’t need to go buy something. I took a trip to my local store and got some lemons. (You could use limes, oranges, green or red apples). Put them in a container. Volia!
2. Fresh flowers and greens! I add a violet plant to our terrarium/ fairy garden and added some new bunny decorations. I’ve also add fresh Daffodils in vases and mason jars and placed them around the house.
3. Smells- Spring fragrances! I took a trip to my local store to check out all the home fragrance; candles, plug ins, and wax melts. I loved all the Spring fragrances by Glade! My favorite is the Peach Daiquiri candle!
- Open blinds let the light in. You want to make your rooms feel warm and cosy with natural sunlight. If you don’t have any blinds to let you do this, it may be worth having a look at some quality custom made blinds in melbourne to get an idea of the different blinds available, before you look for some that suit your current room. Of course, opening the blinds won’t be something you’ll want to do if your windows are old, unattractive, dark and don’t let any light in or even broken. If this is the case for you, it’s recommended that you look into a broken window replacement to ensure that when you open the blinds, you’re met with a modern window and plenty of light.
Happy Spring!
