Crock Pot Mac & Cheese
Adapted from Crockpot cookbook that came with my crock pot. I change the recipe and use organic ingredients, organic whole wheat pasta, and Almond milk. I’ve also added in Spinach or broccoli. And used 3 different cheeses to put a twist on it. It is an easy dinner and definitely a family favorite!
Sunday’s are the perfect day for cooking and family dinner!! I love to make a few things then I just have to pull them out for dinner. Saves time during busy week days!
Crockpot Mac & Cheese
1 pound Whole wheat Elbow Pasta
1 1/2 cup of Almond milk
1 can of Evaporated Milk
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Salt & pepper
Spray Crockpot with Olive Oil spray or use a Crockpot Liner
Cook whole wheat Elbow pasta 1/2 way (6-7) minutes
Add almond milk, evaporated milk, cheddar, salt & pepper.
Cover crock pot and cook on low for 1 1/2 or 2 hrs
