It was big truck day! In order to get ready for our big adventure made little dude some yummy pancakes! This recipes is just awesome and it makes a ton. I usually make the whole batch and freeze them to pull out for breakfast during the week.
What’s Big Truck Day? It is a family fun event put on by Parks & Recreation where all kinds of trucks gather together. It is exciting for kids to see vehicles like these up front, especially if they’ve never witnessed one before.
The kids get to get in the vehicles and check them out. Community helpers were also there to educate the kids about the vehicles and their job in the community. This year little dude’s highlights were fire trucks, police cars, school & city buses, construction vehicles, car transporters, tractors, boats, and tractor trailers. He loved honking the horn on the tractor trailer.
Kids and the big kids (adults) really enjoyed getting to climb in, sit behind the wheel, beep the horn, and explore these life size vehicles and ask questions. What an amazing family event. Check out your Parks & Recreation Centers for something in your cities or towns!
