My little dude has become obsessed with Halloween and all the decorations. He loves looking at all of the Halloween stuff in stores and decorations our neighbors have. HE’s not quite sure what he wants to wear as his costume, but I think he’s going to sway towards something that isn’t too scary.
While I was out running errands earlier this week I stopped by our local craft store and bought some Halloween foam cut-outs and foam pumpkins. I like to keep some craft stuff around for a rainy day or for when I’m feeling creative. The pumpkins are adorable and will work perfectly in our home. We do usually dress the house up for Halloween but this year we’re going to go all out!
We had a rainy afternoon and weren’t going to be able to play outside. Before Little Dude woke up from his nap I got out the Halloween foam stuff. Little Dude was so excited. His face lit up when he saw that we were going to do some Halloween crafts. I think we should do it every year! I made him some popcorn and we sat at the table and made Halloween pictures and decorated the playroom and our Wall of Fame with them. Little dude loved the foam cutouts. He loved to peel the backing off himself, which gave him something more to do. It was also a great fine motor activity.
