Summer loving had me a blast, Summer loving happened so fast, I meet a dessert as delicious as can be. And well the rest is history. These Cupcake Cone make me smile and brings back wonderful memories of my own childhood. My mother made these delicious Cupcake Cones every year for me to celebrate my Birthday at school.
I had a summer birthday, and at my school, we always celebrated my birthday at school at the end of the school year. It was always so exciting to celebrate a birthday at school. The teacher would make a crown, and the whole class would sing Happy Birthday. My mother would bring in Cupcake Cones. Then I could pick a friend to help me hand out the Cupcake Cupcakes to my classmates. After we were done eating, we got to go deliver the extras to the principal and front office staff! I would feel so cool walking down the big halls with my classmate without walking in a single file line and having a teacher present.
Cupcake Cones have found their way into our family’s end of school year traditions. I make these Cupcake Cones as a special last day of school treat! What better way to kick off summer than with these delicious Cupcake Cones! My son loves them just as I did as a kid. Check out the simple recipe below!

I love this. It does look like a real ice cream cone. It would be a nice one to make for April fools too. 🙂 Anyway, I think these cupcake cones are awesome.

These cupcake cones look so good. I love the idea of being able to just give the kids a cone and have them eat the cupcake with the cone. It does indeed save on dishes and forks. I believe adults like these cupcake cones too. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

Very cute recipe. I have been wanting to make this recipe for a few years now. I used a lot of the reviewer’s suggestions like this… I baked at 350 degrees, I filled about 1/2, I wrapped the cones in foil so they wouldn’t burn, and after they baked I poked the bottom of each cone so they wouldn’t get soggy, thanks for all the suggestions they would like a charm, and thanks for the recipe.

I’ve baked cupcake cones a few times but never added sprinkles. I love this added touch. Who doesn’t love springs on their ice cream cone.
