The kids are back to school and Halloween will be here before we know it. It’s time to put on our creative parenting hats and start planning for Halloween costume ideas. You may not have considered this yet, but this time of year can be a great time to teach your kids how to sew by letting them help out with making their Halloween outfits, you can even look for the best sewing machine for kids so they can learn how to use the equipment too. It’s an important life skill for them to master. Little Dude always has grand plans for what he wants to be for Halloween, like one year it was a “spider on a ship”. Right, where that idea came from I will forever have no idea. I however, did create a “spider” costume and a “ship” from our little red wagon. Our kids come up with some fun stuff. Whilst creating your own Halloween costume can be extremely fun for children and adults, this can be extremely time-consuming. If you’ve been planning the costume in advance, this shouldn’t be a problem. However, for those who have left it too late to sew together a costume, you might want to consider looking for some ready-made costumes to throw on quickly. There will be costumes available for most characters from films and TV shows, such as popular programmes like Pokemon. If your child wants to dress up like Pikachu, they can do! There will be costumes and onesies available to purchase, allowing your child to become their favorite character for the evening. Whether you decide to create a costume or purchase one, your child is sure to look amazing!

Thanks for the amazing collection, this is perfect timing for me! I think my little guy is going with a simple (and cheap!) skeleton costume. Love it when you can be creative AND save money with a high quality costume.
