Omaha Steaks

For the past few weeks I have felt like my head is spinning. Between family in- town, my husband traveling, Little Dude’s busy activity schedule, and of course juggling my own busy schedule. Our family life has been a bit crazy. I am so thankful that I had the opportunities to partner with Omaha Steaks. They have saved me!

I am sure I am not the only one that forgets to plan something for dinner. Life happens, what can I say. And in-between juggling Little Dude, home stuff, hubs busy travel schedule, family in town and everything else, sometimes I just do not make it all the way down the to do list. That is how Omaha Steaks saved me! I picked up dinner. I love going to the Omaha Steak store. It is laid out so well and even has a section for meals to go so all you need to do is go home an pop them in the oven definitely something to keep in mind on those busy days.

I called ahead of time to let them know I was on my way. They had my order ready when I arrived. I did not have to wait and the staff was so nice and helpful. I came home took out our steaks to defrost and put everything away.

When we got home from karate, I cooked up the steaks in a grill pan. I would have preferred to put them on the grill but life happens and with the time change it was already dark. I followed the directions on the box and heated our twice baked potatoes. Everything was so nicely packaged together, separately wrapped in there own box and the cooking directions were easy to follow from the side of the box. I was so impressed with how easy it was.

Dinner came out awesome and my hubs is still singing my praises. I have to say, I cooked the steaks to perfection in my grill pan and the Twice Baked Potatoes were so good! My favorite part of dinner had to be the dessert! The Carmel Apple Tartlet. Amazing! I served it warmed with two mini scoops of vanilla ice cream and a dash of cinnamon. Delicious!
