Rolling down the grassy hill.
Smiling so hard, their little eyes close.
Sweet sound of giggles.
Soft words that sound like whispers when running and playing tag.
Climbing to the highest point in the tree.
Watching little heads bob up & down as they run.
The wind blowing their hair ever so softly.
Muddy little footprints.
Making new friends at the park.
Hearing the sound of little voices singing.
The sight of bubbles.
Their rosy red cheeks.
And sun kissed face.
Blowing Dandelions in the wind.
Getting Grass stains.
Learning to ride a bike.
Watching them run to you with a bouquet of freshly picked dandelions, and saying, ” Here, Mommy I picked them for you.”
And making memories that last a lifetime…
This is childhood in the Spring…
