I’m in disbelief that my Little has started preschool! Where did time go? It was just yesterday that he was born and a tiny little. Now he is growing and growing and I blinked and he’s almost 3 and a half. He has grown from little baby to a “big boy” before my eyes.
It’s time for him to start preschool! He is so excited and I think he his ready! We’ve been so blessed to have been able to keep him home for almost 3 and a half years. I’m excited for him and his new journey to the great big “world” of school! It’s just preschool but to me it’s the beginning of his “school career”. Where he will learn the good, the bad, and the ugly! In preschool he’ll be learning to share, make friends, and other preschool skills. All building blocks for his future! Fun times ahead for him.
When looking for a preschool there are a few things that are important to look at. Here was my list! What were yours?
Top 10 List of What to Look for in a Preschool!
1. Class size and teacher ratio- some states set standards however, the small the class size the better.

As a former public school teacher and private pre-k teacher I think your list is pretty spot on. After working in a preschool discipline would be fairly high on my list simple bc I saw several teachers using discipline that I felt was highly inappropriate for the age level. Nothing dangerous- just extreme time outs, missing recess, etc.
