Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, my parents use to tell my siblings and I this growing up. I grew up having breakfast with my family every morning before I went to school and my parents went to work. Our family talked about our day and upcoming events. I loved this tradition growing up and having breakfast together was something I always wanted to do with my own family.
In my family, breakfast is our favorite meal of the day. It the first meal of a new day and we try hard to alway have breakfast together. Having breakfast is my way to keep my family healthy. It’s the first meal of the day, and I know that I’m feeding my family good wholesome foods.
Our days can get pretty crazy and cooking hot meals for breakfast isn’t always an option. Some mornings I have to grab something easy, so everyone gets out of the house on time. We love to start our day together, talking about the day ahead. It’s hard to have a bad day when you start it with the people you love and with a good breakfast.
5 Ways to Simplify Your Morning Routine
1. Set the alarm.
2. Lay out clothes & shoes the night before.
3. Pack backpack the night before and keep it by the door.
4. Make lunches and snacks the night before and store in the refrigerator.
5. Prep foods for breakfast the night before, Chop fresh fruit and choose breakfast cereals rich in whole grain and no high fructose corn syrup like Multi- Grain Cheerios.
